Senior Project: Graphic Novel

Project Description

Graphic novels use sequential art to tell a story. With my experience of working with children, I found that graphic novel is a good attraction to increase children’s reading interests, and to learn how to behave. therefore, I want to convey messages to young readers through a graphic novel. ere are many kinds of people in the world. Everyone has their own way of doing things and own opinions about making decision. We need to respect the differences of others rather than impose our subjective consciousness or opinion on somebody.

Emily’s magic needle is a witty and funny story. One day, Emily got a magic needle. is sewing needle could connect everything in one piece. Emily happily used it to help people solve problems, but ignored the feelings of others. When she discovered that other people’s perspective differed from her, she realized that all things did not only have one conclusion and standard. Even though she disagreed with someone, she could not impose her opinion to others.
