I was born and raised in the Southern China, I’ve been drawing buildings and elements of nature since the age of 12. The leafy parks and architecture of my hometown taught me that design is a part of life, it is all around us. After immigrating to the United States, I have continued my studies in graphic design at Laney College and Cal state East Bay. I enjoy using my hands to present my ideas with visual communications, and immerse in using multiple materials to incorporate different aesthetic skills.
For me, design is an interactive platform. Through visual communications, it is silent in attracting people’s attention, and conveys different messages. My designs having strong personalities and pioneering design thinkings. Illustration is an important visual communication of my work to present my idea. For my website, the background and the logo inherited the characteristic of hand-drawing and my personalities. In fact, with the experience in professional practice, I reached the achievement of transforming the figurative information into visual communications with creative ideas.
